FC Cincinnati homegrown to make his debut with Guatemala U-20s, Ramathan joins Ugandan senior team, Sánchez with Ecuador U-20s
CINCINNATI – FC Cincinnati and FC Cincinnati 2 have had a trio of players called up to represent their national teams during the June international window. Arquimides Ordonez, FC Cincinnati homegrown, has been called into the Guatemalan U-20 national team for the Azul y Blanco’s U-20 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches.
Additionally, a pair of FC Cincinnati 2 players will see international action this month. Musa Ramathan, signed to the club’s MLS NEXT Pro side on May 3, has been called up to represent the Ugandan senior national team.
Ramathan, 20, has made six appearances for the Ugandan U-20s, and is set to make his senior national team debut in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers this June. Bryan Sánchez, who FCC 2 signed on May 9, has been called up to represent the Ecuador U-20 national team for the U-20 World Cup qualifiers. It will be his first appearance with the U-20s.
